Pop along to the Shed between 9:30am and 12:30pm on a Saturday Morning.

Aylsham Community Shed is based at Aylsham High School. To visit the Shed, park in the car park at the end of Palmerston Way and walk through the gate to the School.  Turn right and follow the path down to the Shed. It’s a huge green steel workshop looking out over the Rugby field. The kettle will be on!

How Can We Help You?

what our shedders say about

Aylsham Community Shed

“I felt so welcome”

The Shed is like a band of brothers. When I first walked in the door, I felt so welcome – you walked in and they welcomed you with open arms.

Derek

“Meeting new people”

I joined the Shed to learn and relearn practical skills, but also there is a social side. Meeting new people, of a similar sort of age group – I retired in 2017 and joined the Shed in 2022 – the Shed is a large part of my social life.

Keith

“Keeping my mind busy”

The Shed helps with self-esteem, keeping my hands and my mind busy. It was too easy to just sit and do nothing but watch TV after I lost my wife. The Shed gives me a reason to get up and get active.
