What We Can Do

Everything is still very new at the moment but we plan to be able to offer a wide range of workshop facilities to take on projects appealing to as many as we can. If you can’t find something that may be of interest to you or can help in any way to extend what we do, please do get in touch!

Community Projects

Anything and everything. We will try our best to help out local community groups with projects that might be suitable for our members and volunteers.

Woodwork

Our ‘Shed’ has full woodworking facilities and many of our members love to create artistic and practical projects from carving to furniture.

Repairs & Maintenance

We’re not the ‘Repair Shop’ but if you have something that isn’t too precious and it needs a little love, we’ll do what we can to help. Not necessarily with a hammer!

Metalwork, Electronics, Computer Skills

Our facilities naturally lend themselves to other types of projects and we intend to develop our services and skills into diverse areas over time.

Measure Twice, Sup Once

We’re keen to help you stay safe

Our logo uses the iconic tape meaure – measure twice – and a cuppa with biscuits – sup once – to emphasise that we like to do things right and we care about our members well-being.

That goes for physical safety too. We use the full resources of the national Men’s Sheds body to ensure that we make our ‘Shed’ as safe as we can for all.

  • Our equipment is inspected for safety

  • We ensure regulatory safety certificates are in place
