The Shed is open between 9:30am and 12:30pm on a Thursday or Saturday Morning.

Aylsham and District Community Shed is based at Aylsham High School (Saturdays), with a further workshop at Blickling (Thursdays).

The Shed is like a band of brothers. When I first walked in the door, I felt so welcome – you walked in and they welcomed you with open arms.

I joined the Shed to learn and relearn practical skills, but also there is a social side. Meeting new people, of a similar sort of age group – I retired in 2017 and joined the Shed in 2022 – the Shed is a large part of my social life.

The Shed helps with self-esteem, keeping my hands and my mind busy. It was too easy to just sit and do nothing but watch TV after I lost my wife. The Shed gives me a reason to get up and get active.
