In early October 2025, the National Trust Blickling asked the community shed if we might be able to convert an existing garden shed to form a ticket booth to be used for the Blickling Christmas lights switch-on event Monday 8th December 2025.
This involved changing the existing shed door into a one third / two thirds door (like a stable door, but different proportions) and changing the shed window into a serving hatch. Some additional, internal, shelving was also needed.
NT moved the old shed to a new location at the front of the hall and work was undertaken there and in the workshop at Blickling.
It was quite a tight schedule, but the project was delivered on time and was much appreciated by NT staff and guests.
