In July 2024, we were contacted, via our website, by Aylsham Library. They wondered if we could help them with a project supporting the charity ‘Remembering Together’.
Remembering Together support those who have experienced bereavement. The objective was to construct a tree on which people could hang a symbol of their memories.
Pencils were soon flying over plywood, drawing the outline of a multi-branched tree! Then, out came the jigsaws and coping saws to cut the outlined shape. The tree was then given a good coating of white paint to protect it and make it stand out. The result was very pleasing!
